- The 13th India-Thailand Joint Military Exercise ‘Maitri’ is being held from July 1 to 15 at Fort Watchiraprakan in Tak Province, Thailand.
- The exercise has been conducted alternately in Thailand and India since 2006.
- Aim: To promote military cooperation between India and Thailand.
- Exercise focus: Conduct of joint jungle and urban warfare operations.
