India-Thailand Joint Military Exercise ‘Maitri’

    • The 13th India-Thailand Joint Military Exercise ‘Maitri’ is being held from July 1 to 15 at Fort Watchiraprakan in Tak Province, Thailand.
    • The exercise has been conducted alternately in Thailand and India since 2006.
    • Aim: To promote military cooperation between India and Thailand.
    • Exercise focus: Conduct of joint jungle and urban warfare operations.
  • Benefits from the exercise:

    • Exchange of best practices for joint exercises.
