Total Outlay: Rs 14,235.30 Crore

  • Digital Agriculture Mission (Outlay: Rs 2,817 Crore)

    Focus: Use of technology to improve agriculture.

    • Key Components:
      • Agri Stack: Farmers registry, land maps, crop data.
      • Krishi Decision Support System: Geospatial data, weather monitoring, groundwater data, crop yield modeling.
      • Technologies: AI, Big Data, digital crop estimation, soil profiling.
  • Crop Science for Food and Nutritional Security (Outlay: Rs 3,979 Crore)

    Goal: Climate resilience, food security by 2047.

    • Areas: Genetic improvement, research on crops, insects, microbes, and plant genetics.
  • Strengthening Agricultural Education and Research (Outlay: Rs 2,291 Crore)

    Objective: Modernize agricultural education and research.

    • Focus Areas: Digital technology, natural farming, climate resilience, aligned with New Education Policy 2020.
  • Sustainable Livestock Health and Production (Outlay: Rs 1,702 Crore)

    Aim: Enhance income from livestock and dairy.

    • Components: Animal health management, veterinary education, genetic resource management, dairy technology.
  • Sustainable Development of Horticulture (Outlay: Rs 1,129.30 Crore)

    Goal: Increase income from horticultural crops.

    • Focus Areas: Tropical and sub-tropical crops, root and tuber crops, vegetables, floriculture, and medicinal plants.
  • Strengthening of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Outlay: Rs 1,202 Crore)

    Purpose: Enhance agricultural extension services.

  • Natural Resource Management (Outlay: Rs 1,115 Crore)

    Focus: Sustainable management of natural resources.
