UPSC Chairman Manoj Soni Resigns

Manoj Soni, the Chairman of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), resigned on July 20, 2024, citing personal reasons. He stepped down before completing his term, which was scheduled to last until May 2029. The 59-year-old Soni took office as a member of the commission on June 28, 2017, and was sworn in as UPSC Chairman on May 16, 2023.
