President Murmu awarded Timor-Leste’s highest civilian honor

Timor-Leste President Jose Ramos Horta awarded President Draupadi Murmu the country’s highest civilian award ‘Grand-Collar of the Order of Timor-Leste’. This award is given in recognition of her

achievements in public service and dedication to education, social welfare and women’s empowerment. She was given this honor during her visit to Timor-Leste. East Timor, also known as Timor-Leste.
