• Rajasthan Chief Minister launched Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi at the state’s Krishi Upaj Mandi in Tonk.

Features of Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi:

• Provides Rs 2000/year income support in three installments: Rs 1000, Rs 500, Rs 500.
• The first installment was transferred to Tonk on June 30, 2024.
• Along with this, eligible farmers will also get payment under PM-Kisan Yojana.
• Funds directly transferred to farmers’ bank accounts; 65 lakh farmers eligible.

Nodal Agency:

• Nodal agency: Rajasthan Cooperative Department.

• Launched 21 Custom Hiring Centers for renting agricultural equipment at nominal rates.
• Disbursement to Village Service Cooperative Societies:
• Rs 8 lakh disbursed to each Village Service Cooperative Society.

Women-run Village Service Cooperative Societies:

• Rs 3 lakh distributed to 51 women-run Village Service Cooperative Societies.
• Aim to develop leadership skills of rural women and empower them.
