Launch of Maa Voucher Scheme

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma launched the ‘Maa Voucher Scheme’ in the entire state on August 8, 2024 for free sonography of pregnant women. This scheme was started as a pilot project in three districts of the state – Baran, Bharatpur and Phalodi on March 8, 2024. After its success, this scheme is now being implemented in the entire state.

Benefits: Through this scheme, free sonography services will be available at government sonography centers as well as private sonography centers. Under the scheme, a pregnant woman will be provided one sonography free of cost during pregnancy in the second or third trimester.
