Nano-fertilizer Subsidy Scheme

Overview:

Event: 102nd International Cooperative Day celebrated in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on July 6.

Scheme: AGR-2 scheme, offering a 50% subsidy to farmers for purchasing nano fertilizers.

Government’s Objective:

• Promote environmentally friendly farming practices.
• Reduce the usage of chemical fertilizers in agriculture.
• Encourage sustainable agricultural techniques and organic farming.

Subsidy Distribution:

Beneficiaries: Three farmers received subsidies under the AGR-2 scheme.

Actions & Trials:

• 100-day action plan initiated to conduct 1270 demonstrations of Nano DAP in 413 districts.
• 200 trials of Nano Urea Plus in 100 districts.

Product Launch:

Amit Shah launched 'Bharat Organic Wheat Flour' by the National Cooperative Organic Limited.
