Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi
The Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi was launched by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on June 30, 2024, at the state's Krishi Upaj Mandi in Tonk. This initiative supports farmers through direct financial assistance and empowers rural communities.
Features of Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi
- Provides Rs 2000/year income support in three installments:
- First installment: Rs 1000
- Second installment: Rs 500
- Third installment: Rs 500
- The first installment was transferred in Tonk on June 30, 2024.
- Eligible farmers will also receive payments under the PM-Kisan Yojana.
- Funds are directly transferred to farmers' bank accounts, benefiting 65 lakh farmers in the state.
Nodal Agency
The Rajasthan Cooperative Department is the nodal agency for implementing this scheme.
Custom Hiring Centers
- 21 Custom Hiring Centers were launched for renting agricultural equipment at nominal rates.
- Each Village Service Cooperative Society received Rs 8 lakh for disbursement.
Women-Run Village Service Cooperative Societies
- Rs 3 lakh was distributed to 51 women-run Village Service Cooperative Societies.
- The initiative aims to develop leadership skills among rural women and promote their empowerment.
