C-DAC Partners with Moschip and Socionext to Design and Develop High Performance Computing Processor AUM

Project Overview

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has partnered with Moschip and Socionext to design and develop AUM, an indigenous High-Performance Computing (HPC) processor, aiming to strengthen India’s supercomputing capabilities.

Project Description

• Objective: To indigenize high-performance computing technology in India.
• Key Partners: C-DAC, Moschip, and Socionext, with Keenheads Technologies appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC).

Technical Details

• Platform: Based on the Arm Neoverse™ v2 CPU platform.
• Technology: Advanced packaging technology is being used to enhance performance.
• Aim: To develop and implement cutting-edge supercomputing technologies for national use.
