India and UNESCO to Host the 2024 Edition of CSAR on September 6 in Paris

  • Assistant Director-General (ADG – Natural Sciences) of UNESCO: Dr. Lydia Brito.
• Objective: "Promoting open science, reducing knowledge asymmetries, and building science advice capacity".

  • Delegations from 28 countries.
  • 6 international organisations.
• Background:
  • CSAR was conceived during India’s Presidency of G20 2023.
  • Launched as a Sherpa-track initiative.
