Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) Formation

The Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) was established to enhance supply chain resilience with 14 member countries.

Key Bodies:

• Supply Chain Council (SCC): Chair: USA, Vice-Chair: India
• Meeting: Inaugural virtual meetings held to enhance supply chain resilience.
• Elections: Chairs and Vice-Chairs elected for two-year terms.

IPEF Members:

• Australia, Brunei, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, USA.

Objective:

To promote growth, economic stability, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.
