46th Meeting of the World Heritage Committee
India will host the 46th meeting of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee from July 21-31, 2024. The meeting will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Over 2500 delegates from 195 countries are expected to attend.
Recommendation for Inclusion of Ahom Moidam as World Heritage Site
A total of 36 nominations were received for inclusion in the World Heritage List, including one Indian nomination — Ahom Moidam. Ahom Moidam is the resting place of the royal families in Charaideo district of Assam.
