Adelphi is seeking to recruit a Registered Dietitian for a full time role in a Mental Health long term care facility in Farmington, Missouri.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, start time may be 7:30 a.m., 8 a.m. or 8:30 a.m.

Qualifications:

• Registered and licensed in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Complete annual nutrition assessments for 120 patients.
• Complete quarterly progress notes for 120 patients.
• Respond to doctor ordered nutrition consults with patients.
• Participation in treatment team meetings.
• Monitor and document patients progress and consult with physicians as needed.
• Review diagnosis and design nutrition plans for patients, including nutrition assessment, implementation, and progress towards nutrition goals.
• Educate and provide guidance to staff, patients and families regarding diet plans.
• Administer and advise food service operations to ensure menus are compliant with prescribed nutritional plans.
• Record any weight gain or reduction in medical charts and personal files.
• Prepare monthly progress reports on each patient.
