Your role involves close collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams, tasked with repairing and enhancing manufacturing processes focusing on hydraulic, electric machines, and robotics. Autonomous problem-solving is a must as you:

• Repair and maintain plant essentials like equipment, buildings, and even the grounds.
• Diagnose mechanical oddities by sound and operation to pinpoint issues.
• Dismantle and repair defective equipment components.
• Modify functioning device parts and controls.
• Collaborate with process technicians to handle press and robot concerns.
• Document faithfully, adhering to compliance with quality and operations standards.
• Execute and update preventive maintenance routines.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA and ANSI safety protocols.
• Equipment-wise, tackle hydraulic systems, HVAC, electrical, and more.
• Bring faulty machinery back to life through adept repair work.
• Grasp PLC ladder logic for troubleshooting and minor program amendments.
• Innovate and implement poke-yoke and alarm systems.

What We're Looking For

• A diploma or the equivalent is a must; advanced degrees stand out.
• Rich experience (3-5 years) in injection molding is crucial.
• Skills with robotics and programmable controls, including debugging and adjustment prowess, are paramount.
• Preferably, one is informed in industrial electricity.
• Bonus: Familiarity with plant machinery, electronics, HVAC, and more.
• Proficiency with electrical and mechanical schematics is advantageous.
• Interest in advancing through continuous learning is vital.

Physical Capabilities:

• Operate independently and handle tasks with little supervision.
• Frequent lifting may involve 40-pound objects.
• Prepare to bend, stoop, or maintain static positions during the job.
• Engage in forklift duties, observing safety and operation protocols.
