Job Description

Our manufacturing company has operated for over 100 years and is in need of a Screw Machine Operator.

Good mechanical aptitude is a must, along with the ability to read blueprints, use micrometers, and calipers. This role is good fit with those coming from the automobile industry(such as mechanics, service/lube technicians, etc.).

1st shift (6am - 2:30pm M-F)
2nd shift (2:15pm - 12:45am M-Th)

Compensation: $15/hr.

General job duties are listed below:
- Operates one or more previously set up multiple spindle screw machines to perform a series of machining operations on bar stock.
- Reads Blueprints and job orders for information on dimensions, tolerances, and number of pieces to be machined.
- Adjusts machine controls and changes tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.
- Replace or adjust tools needed to complete job.
- Documentation of job and quality checks completed regularly.
