Position Summary

Assists equipment operators throughout the plant to achieve budgeted production and quality targets and performs special tasks as directed by Shift Supervisor.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

1. Relieves equipment operators as directed for breaks and absences.
2. Cleans main process, log conditioning and finishing building.
3. Assist operators with start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
4. Maintains cleanliness of assigned work areas.
5. Notifies Shift Supervisor, Production Supervisor and maintenance department of any equipment problems.
6. Individual must be able to perform his job by working in high places including stairs, platforms, scaffolding, and decks.
7. Must be able to operate equipment including but not limited to, forklifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, Skid steer and front-end loaders, on occasion.
8. Snow removal
9. Performs other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor or Production Supervisor

Education

High School Diploma

GED in General Studies

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as an applicant's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.

U.S. Market-Based Salary Range

[$23.06 - $23.06]

In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
