Pre-Employment Prep Instructor

As a Pre-Employment Prep Instructor, you will play a key role in supporting student growth through thoughtful instruction, strong communication, and organized implementation. Your responsibilities will include:
Create and adapt engaging lessons that meet diverse student needs using scaffolding and differentiation, to ensure accessibility for all learners.
Design hands-on instructional materials that bring concepts to life.
Innovate and adapt resources that resonate with learners of all abilities.
Keep clear and consistent records, including progress notes and daily logs.
Contribute to meaningful student growth by tracking and reflecting on learning outcomes.
Keep everything organized and aligned—from lesson plans to billing documentation.
Support program compliance and smooth operations.
Lead small group and individual instruction in facility-based programs.
Tailor your instructional approach to meet the unique needs of each learner.
Take learning beyond the classroom with career exploration, internships, and real-world skill-building in the community.
Help students connect with opportunities that build independence and purpose.
Work closely with classroom teachers, facilitators, and other staff to support student success.
Foster a team-centered environment built on respect, trust, and communication.
Assist with documentation and billing procedures to keep programs running smoothly.
Ensure accurate records, efficient workflows, and organized reporting.
A Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Exceptional Children, High School Education, or a closely related field (preferred)
OR significant experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
A valid NC Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
💰 Pay : $21.00–$22.50 per hour
