The London Group leads Solar Retail innovation across Tampa and Clearwater, delivering clean energy solutions directly to residential communities. We’re seeking Solar Sales Associates to help drive expansion, connect with customers, and elevate our impact. This is a chance to grow with an industry leader, gain hands-on market experience, and contribute to a more sustainable tomorrow.

As a Solar Sales Associate, you’ll gain hands-on training from industry professionals, sharpen your skills in customer acquisition, and confidently represent forward-looking solar technologies. You’ll also benefit from a supportive team culture that values initiative, celebrates growth, and empowers every associate to lead with purpose. If you're ambitious, adaptable, and energized by purpose-driven work, this role is your gateway to lasting impact and career acceleration.

Key Responsibilities of the Solar Sales Associate

  • Proactively connect with residential customers in designated areas and during local events, sparking engaging conversations to uncover their energy needs.
  • Conduct tailored needs assessments and recommend customized solar solutions that best suit each customer's home and lifestyle.
  • Build instant rapport and foster trust to establish long-term client relationships focused on sustainable energy.
  • Lead customers through the end-to-end solar sales process, from initial consultation to contract signing, ensuring precision and a smooth transition.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar technology, financing options, and local incentives to communicate value confidently.
  • Capture valuable insights from customer interactions and market trends to support strategic improvements in solar adoption.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales acquisition targets, driving the success of the Solar Retail program.
  • Accurately log all client interactions, sales activity, and project statuses in the CRM for clear reporting and process transparency.
  • Represent The London Group and our solar partners with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Participate fully in ongoing training and mentorship to refine sales techniques, product mastery, and client service excellence in the solar industry.

Minimum Qualifications of the Solar Sales Associate

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework or a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a valuable asset.
  • 0–2 years’ experience in customer-facing roles (retail, sales, service, or hospitality) with strong communication skills. No solar background needed—comprehensive training provided.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to initiate conversations and build rapport quickly.
  • A strong, positive attitude and a resilient mindset, viewing challenges as opportunities for growth in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and possess excellent time management skills, capable of managing daily activities independently.
  • Goal-oriented with a competitive spirit, driven by the desire to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, direct client interaction environment, often outdoors or at events.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to team success.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
