“Swachhata Hi Seva 2024” Campaign – Ministry of Steel Leadership: Led by Union Minister Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy and MoS Shri Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma. Objective: Promote cleanliness, sustainability, and public engagement through various initiatives. Key Events Swachhta Pledge at Udyog Bhawan (17th Sept 2024) Location: Steel Room, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi. Participants: Senior officers of the Ministry of Steel. Initiative: Distribution of 100 large dustbins across key tourist spots in Delhi (in collaboration with SAIL and NMDC). Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign at Bhilai (17th Sept 2024) Inauguration by Steel Minister. Activities: Tree planting, cleanliness drive, school programs, public Swachhata pledge.

Cleanliness Drive at KIOCL Plant, Mangalore (28th Sept 2024) Activities: Tree planting, cleanliness campaign, community interaction, school initiatives, and Swachhta Pledge. Tree Plantation & Cleanliness Drive in Narsapuram, Andhra Pradesh Dates: 20th Sept 2024 and 2nd Oct 2024. Led by MoS Shri Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma. Activities: Community engagement, school programs, Swachhta Pledge. Swachhata Run & Felicitation Ceremony (21st Sept 2024 and 2nd Oct 2024) Swachhata Run led by Secretary (Steel) at Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri. Felicitation of Safai Mitras and Suraksha Mitras for contributions to cleanliness.
