India's overall SDG score: 71 (up from 66 in 2020-21 and 57 in 2018).

32 States/UTs in the "Front Runner" category, with 10 new entrants including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.

Significant Progress in Goals:

• Goal 1 (No Poverty): score increased from 60 to 72.
• Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): notable improvement.
• Goal 13 (Climate Action): highest score increase (from 54 to 67).
• Goal 15 (Life on Land): substantial gains.

Top Performers in Score Improvement:

• Uttar Pradesh (+25)
• J&K (+21)
• Uttarakhand (+19)
• Sikkim (+18)
• Haryana (+17)

Key Government Interventions Driving SDG Progress:

• PM Awas Yojana: Over 4 crore houses built.
• Swachh Bharat: 11 crore toilets built.
• PM Ujjwala Yojana: 10 crore LPG connections.
• Ayushman Bharat PMJAY: 30 crore beneficiaries.
• Jal Jeevan Mission: Tap water connections to over 14.9 crore households.
• Saubhagya Scheme: Electricity access for all.

Rajasthan's score on the SDG India Index 2023-24 is 67, which places it in the "Performer" category.
