Kooj Mission India

Launch: Initiated by Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on September 30, 2024, in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Goal: To boost cruise tourism to 1 million passengers and create 400,000 jobs by 2029.

Duration: The 5-year mission will run from October 2024 to March 2029 in three phases.

Implementing Ministry: Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways.

Mission Basundhara 3.0

Launch: Officially launched on 20th October 2024 by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati.

Objective: To provide formal land rights to indigenous communities in Assam, ensuring the security and recognition of their land ownership.

Initial Launch: Mission Basundhara was first launched on 2nd October 2021.
