'Chakshu' Facility on 'Digital Intelligence Platform (DIP)' and Sanchar Sathi Portal

  • About Digital Intelligence Platform: Developed by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
  • Chakshu: A new feature on the Sanchar Sathi portal.
  • Purpose: Allows citizens to report suspected fraudulent communication through call, SMS, or WhatsApp.

ADITI Scheme Launched during DefConnect 2024

  • Objective: Promotes defense tech innovations, aiming to develop 30 critical technologies.
  • Eligibility: Start-ups can receive up to Rs 25 crore grant.
  • By: iDEX framework of the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.
  • Expansion: iDEX Prime expanded to Rs 10 crore assistance.

Inauguration of India's First National Dolphin Research Center (NDRC)

  • Location: India's first NDRC inaugurated.
  • National Aquatic Animal: Ganges dolphin, locally known as "Sugandhi."

Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024

  • Objective: Aims to boost Electric Vehicle adoption with Rs 500 crore fund for 4 months.
  • Focus: Accelerating adoption of electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
  • Eligible Categories: Electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers for commercial use, as well as privately or corporate owned vehicles with advanced battery technology.
  • Nodal Ministry: Ministry of Heavy Industries.
