Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) Scheme
Overview
- Type: Central Sector Scheme for Post-Harvest Management.
- Launch: 2020, for debt financing of post-harvest infrastructure (FY2020–FY2032).
- Objective: Support infrastructure for post-harvest management and community farming assets.
Key Features
- Interest Subvention: 3% per annum for loans up to ₹2 crore (7 years max).
- Project Limit: Up to 25 projects, ₹2 crore each.
- Borrower Contribution: Minimum 10% of project cost.
- Moratorium: 6 months to 2 years.
- Credit Guarantee: Available under CGTMSE for loans up to ₹2 crore.
Priority
- SC/ST Entrepreneurs: 24% of grants for SC/ST.
- Women/Weaker Sections: Priority lending.
