Position: Second-highest law officer after Attorney General.
Role: Assists the Attorney General, advises the government, represents in higher courts.
Term: 3 years, extendable.
Duties:
- Advice: Legal counsel to the government.
- Representation: Appears in Supreme Court and High Courts.
Limitations:
- No private practice.
- No external appointments or advice against the government.
