Subedar Pawan Yadav awarded 'Kirti Chakra'

Subedar Pawan Kumar Yadav, a resident of Badbar village of Buhana in Jhunjhunu, was awarded the 'Kirti Chakra' by President Draupadi Murmu on July 5, 2024.

Pawan Yadav is posted in the 21st Battalion Mahar Regiment.

He received this honor on June 22, 2023, for killing terrorists while preventing their infiltration in Kupwara.
