Statutory body under Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2019

• Monitors and evaluates Act's implementation
• Recommends measures for transgender rights

Composition:

• Chairperson: Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment
• Vice-Chairperson: Union Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment
• Members include reps from various Ministries, 5 transgender community reps, NHRC, NCW, State Govts, UTs, and NGO experts.
